義大利Pecchenino佩契米諾酒莊在十七世紀末便開始釀酒,是非常古老的一間酒莊,現在由Attilio與Orlando兩兄弟管理,原本僅有8公頃葡萄園,由於品質卓越,後來更購買鄰近優良葡萄園,現在已經有25公頃的栽種面積,其中22公頃在生產Dolcetto極為出名的Dolcetto di Dogliani區,另外3公頃則在Monforte d'Alba區。
酒莊有種植Nebbiolo與Barbera這兩個知名品種,不過最受酒評推崇的是Dolcetto這個俗稱『小甜甜』的義大利Piemont區第三大品種,在Dogliani區可以追溯到1432年,酒莊擁有三個園,約佔總產量的70%都是種植Dolcetto,使用『有機種植法』與『永續種植法』,葡萄果實皆健康天然。
義大利Piemont區通常將最優良的南向坡面種植Nebbiolo葡萄,因為經濟價值最高,但Pecchenino莊主卻特異獨行,將Dolcetto種植於莊園內最好的地塊,雖然酒莊不特別晚採收,但因葡萄園朝南且實行低產量,葡萄的成熟度與風味都相當完美,英國Wine Spectator雜誌在2011年3月專文『Feature on Piedmont』一文中探討了Dolcetto這個當地極為盛行的品種,評比多家酒莊後,給予『其中一個佼佼者就是Pecchenino佩契米諾酒莊』(One of the best there is Pecchenino.)的結論,甚至比名廠Bruno Giacosa的Dolcetto d'Alba評鑑更高,大放異彩!
這款來自酒莊San Luigi葡萄園的Dolcetto屬於酒莊入門酒款,使用不鏽鋼桶釀造陳年,充分展現『小甜甜』特殊新鮮漿果風味,葡萄種植於成熟度良好的南向坡面,收成時有很高的成熟度,新鮮清脆的櫻桃果香搭配些微辛香料氣息,多汁的印象更讓人聯想到新鮮覆盆莓果汁與藍莓果漿,甜美均衡,非常適合搭餐享用,更可大口啜飲,新鮮迷人正是他最可愛的面貌,有時更帶一抹紫羅蘭花香,柔軟單寧與均衡尾韻,在在挑逗嗜酒的味蕾,這款San Luigi聖陸契園,WA給予90高分,並稱讚他『有頂級的均衡與和諧』!

The 2010 Dolcetto di Dogliani San Luigi shows plenty of intensity in its dark black and blue fruit, licorice, spices and violets. All of the elements flow together gracefully in this varietally true, expressive Dolcetto. The balance and sheer harmony here are first-rate.

Wild blueberry and tart sour cherry flavors fill out the juicy middle of this wine and last. The tannin feels ripe and the acidity backs up all the fruit, creating a mouthwatering match for grilled chopped sirloin.

Dolcetto is a delicious, drinkable wine anytime. In the hills of Dogliani, the Pecchenino brothers continue the family tradition of producing quality grapes in a sustainable fashion. The grapes are grown on southwest facing hills at 1500 ft elevation producing beautifully ripened fruit that is feremented in stainless steel. The result is a traditional style Dolcetto that is youthful and charming. It has appealing aromas of violets and ripe, vibrant cherry flavors, soft tannins, and a solid, structured finish.
Pecchenino’s 2009 Dolcetto di Dogliani San Luigi offers up plump, juicy dark fruit with excellent varietal character in an accessible, mid-weight style. Floral notes add lift on the fresh, vinous finish. This is an excellent choice for drinking over the next few years."
