義大利酒莊

Ceretto

義大利 Piedmont 地區的 Barolo 自古就以生產頂尖的紅酒而聞名；CERETTO 酒莊則是此區酒莊的佼佼者。一位 Riccardo Ceretto 在 1930年代創立了一家銷售葡萄酒的公司 Casa Vinicola Ceretto，即為現在Ceretto 酒莊 (現在其正式名稱為傑樂托農業公司— Aziende Agricole Ceretto) 的前身；現在 Ceretto家族的事業已發展成為擁有數家酒廠的大公司。

第二代的 Bruno Ceretto 和 Marcello Ceretto 這對傑出的兄弟檔在 1960年代接管父親的事業，並開始擴充酒莊的規模，陸續購入多處條件優良的葡萄園。他們首先先在許多當地的莊園中採樣，以找出哪裡是 Barolo 和 Barbaresco 最理想的葡萄園位置，然後才開始購置葡萄園，並依產區建立多座酒廠。此外 Ceretto 也與一些同樣有追求高品質理念的小酒農合作，生產各種類型的葡萄酒及渣釀白蘭地。重要的是，隨著量的增加 Ceretto 的產品依然維持卓越的品質。如今 Ceretto 家的第三代也加入了家族事業，未來 Ceretto 的發展更加令人期待。

Bricco Rocche園位於 Castiglione Falletto 鄉社(Commune)。面積 1.5公頃，海拔 312~340公尺，坡面向南。土壤組成黏土 59 %、泥土 20.5 %、砂礫 20.5 %。葡萄樹種植於 1978年。

Delicate and harmonious in certain respects, and powerful and robust in others, this is a demanding, complex, elegant wine. Its grandeur shows through already just a few months after bottling, and gradually increases as the flowery aromas of its youth give way to ethereal spices, chocolate and truffle.

Very earthy and tightly wound, before unfolding into a stately charmer. There’s a hundred superlatives you could throw at this beauty, but it’s the leathery, smoky, textured palate and the spicy black-cherry core that win you over. Hardly shy, the tannins are still drying, but it’s approachable, especially if decanted.
